FCL is a form of shipment where the load reaches the maximum weight allowed for a 20ft or 40ft shipping container.
This shipment option works well for large and fragile goods. You can also choose not to fill the container and reserve the remaining space for additional requirements.
LCL refers to cargo that is below the weight to which freight rates are applicable. In such situations, your goods will be grouped with other shipments to fill up standard containers.
As you are only required to pay for the space taken up by the cargo, you will benefit from the lower shipping costs if you meet the minimum volume required.
